The Little Red Hen

A  retelling by Violet Findley,Illustrated by Lynne Cravath

Once upon a time,a little red hen decided to glow some wheat.

There were a dog,a cat and a duck.

She asked them to help her plant. However they said

"Not me!"      "Not me!"      "Not me!"

So,she had to do by herself.
Before long,all the wheat was enough tall to cut.

And she asked them again,"Who will help me cut this?" They said 

               "Not me!"      "Not me!"    "Not me!"
Finally,she made bread by using that wheat.
She asked them "Who will help me eat this?" 
They said,

"Me!"   "Me!"    "Me!"

She didn't share the bread with them because they never help her .

On Thursday,I started to working.

I have worked for the first time in my life. I was little nervous.

First,I washed a lot of dishes. I was told how to dish up kimchi by my boss.

It wasn't so hard.

On Sunday,I worked again. 

It was Sunday,so there were many people visited.

I was surprised to have seen a large number of dishes I had to wash.

I confused at the first time,but thanks to boss's advice,somehow I completed the task.

I thought it was harder to earn money.

One day,she went out and was to get on a car in front of the entrance of apartment. Then,she saw a handsome boy.

At the same time,he thought that he met a beautiful girl.

They had been thinking about them each other,but they hadn't meet since that day.

The key person was a old woman who was a neighborhood of her.

The boy wanted to send her red roses,but he didn't know where she was.

Then,the old woman told him where she lived.

At last,they met at her's apartment.

There was a rat whose name was Remy.

Remy was different from other rats in having good smell and making great dishes.

One day,he reached a restaurant.

There,a boy named Linguini worked and made soup.

He couldn't make delicious soup and was tired. Remy understood the bad points of the soup.

And Remy added some spices on it.

Linguini asked him how to make delicious dishes. After that they came to make dishes together.

Linguini became good chef,but it was because of Remy.

Dad's Grand Plan

It was holiday,children wanted to go out anywhere.

Then,Dad had a grand plan and decided to go.

They packed their luggage and all of them rode in a car.

On the way to cottage,one problem happened. There were luggage on car's roof and the mouth of bag was opened,so clothes(pants,socks and T-shirts) were flew away.

As they arrived at cottage,it was dirty in the room.

There was a claw in the room. They somehow go away the claw.

They were busy to clean the messy room.

There was a boy who had a magic key.

when he slept on his bed,suddenly the magic key started to grow.

The magic key took him to an airport.

And he decided to go to Switzerland. He enjoyed festival there,but he found a  kidnap.

He wanted to help them,so chased criminals.

Criminals were all bears,fortunately.

There,he came up with good idea to rescue them.

He gave them honey...

Could he help them from criminals?

It had been raining for days.

As time passed,more and more the amount of rainwater increased.

One day,the school was closed and people in the town carried the sandbags to their houses to avoid flooding.

One family carried furniture such as sofa to upstairs.

Nevertheless,flood happened and the house was　soaked.

They helped each other.

She felt uneasiness and somehow wanted to escape.

Then,she came up with an idea.

She started dancing and twisting her body. And she told wolves the dance.

wolves enjoyed it,again and again they rolling.

They felt faint and the rabbit completed running away from them!

However,when she arrived at a shop,she realized that she forgot her wallet.

She was confused...

Suddenly,a robbery appeared in front of her.

He fell and dropped money that he had stolen. After that,police men came.

Fortunately,she seemed as witness who grabbed the robbery and she got reward.

She finished shopping safely by using reward.

I read this book today,so I want to introduce you!

There was a boy in a small African village. And a tricky spider lived with.

He was able to find the biggest and sweetest fruit in the jungle.

One day,the spider was hungry and he was asked to take some fruits.

He chose a good plum tree.

But,the spider ate up all plums on the tree.

Another day,the spider's belly was full,nevertheless he asked the boy to find the best honey.

The spider ate up all honey,so he couldn't get off the hole of hive.

The boy didn't help the spider and he escaped by himself.

After that, the spider became gentle and share the fruit with others.

I went to Fukuoka to take a dance lesson.

I took the lesson for the first time since 2 years. So,I had a hard time.

Stretching was very hard for me and I had muscular pain.

I'm not good at dancing,but I enjoyed with some friends.

Someday,I want to be a good dancer!

I watched world-cup soccer games last Tuesday!

In Japan,it began at 3:00.So,I went to bed earlier than usual and prepared to watch the game.

First,Japanese players scored 2 goals! It was very exciting!

I hoped to win Japan,but Belgium was powerful.

Half of later,Belgian players scored 3 goals. 

I was disappointed at the result of the game,but they gave me a lot of courage and excitement.

I'm looking forward to watch soccer games after 4 years!

I read this book the other day. I'll introduce this book!

In ancient Roman,there was a family who  made bread.

One day,they made bread but,they couldn't swell enough to have baked.

Then,children who have come to another world advised them to make into pizza.

After that,they completed to make pizza!

And also,children told that they should sell at race venue.

People bought them very much with lining up.

I thought to have read this book that it's important to devise in any ages.

We should learn a lot from ancient people.
